2. She's back. They powdered her up, said nice job, and sent
her back out smiling.

5. Cry me a river, lady.
Wonder how she'd handle trying to live on a gov't check, and having her gas shut off, like my neighbor Sherry.

6. I think it was all done for the cameras.
She was probably coached to cry at some point in the hearings to draw attention away
from her husband.

11. Please, please stop dissing this lady's clothing.

It is really getting on my nerves. Everyone keeps criticizing what she is wearing. In fact, give me an example of what you would wear in front of TV cameras.

8. Remember, Graham coached hubby on answers. Stands to reason

that wifey got some advice as well

Feingold asks for list of coaches
This is an important list. If those people told Alito how to answer questions about wiretapping etc, there could be trouble.
There is also the report of Sen. Lindsey Graham attending and coaching during the moot sessions.

emotions like a fiddle. He knew exactly what he was doing.

From the Washington Post...

Referring to the flap over the Concerned Alumni of Princeton, Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) asked Alito, "Are you really a closet bigot?" Replied Alito, "I'm not any kind of bigot."

Graham said the issue smacked of "guilt by association" and emotionally told Alito, "I am sorry you had to go through this. I am sorry your family had to sit here and listen to this."

At that point, Alito's wife, Martha-Ann, began to weep and briefly left the hearing room.
