Faux News - abandoning all pretense of FAIR or BALANCED |
|
Have you noticed that this week they have abandoned even the pretense of balance? Usually, they at least get some weak, unknown, nontelegenic Dem to speak, but this week, it's Neil Cavuto and 3 Pubs talking, for example.
First he asks one PUB about whether the Dems have hurt themselves by making Mrs. Alito cry. Then he asks another PUB, then he asks a third PUB.
I watch them periodically throughout the day to monitor them, since Roger Ailes is the Minister of Propaganda for the Bush Regime. Apparently this week, they are so intent on reinforcing their rightwing base that they have abandoned any attempt to include even innocuous and ineffective Dem spokespeople.
Anyone see Neil Cavuto right now? It's a business show, so what is the lead story? DEMS MADE MRS. ALITO CRY!! Geez, they even highlighted her on the film, in case anyone hadn't yet figured it out.
BTW, he knows less about business than Laura Bush.

12. Remember when they sued to stop Al Franken? |
|
The judge spanked them hard on that one.
Part of their case was to try to make Franken stop using a parody of them with his Book Title.

10. Are you serious? Because it's important to do so. |
|
It's more important to monitor the opposition than to watch news shows which are less Republican in tone. I don't just watch them. I watch everyone, including them.
Refusing to watch and hear one's opponents is bad planning.

3. I thought they quit pretending six months or so before the election. |
|
If not earlier. They were never exactly even handed.

4. SOMEone needs to throw a pie at Shillvuto's fat face!! |
|
He Photoshops up like James Bond on the cover of his new book, yet wouldn't know heroism if it kicked him in his fat ass. You would think that nobody this side of James Glassman and Kevin O Brien could be this insufferable of a Bushbot, but damn if Shitvuto doesn't prove them wrong.

Throughout all of the political theatrics the Pubs pulled with the Clinton Admin, Hilary never lost it in public. And I do think the Clinton's got the worst of it. I mean, bawlin' because your hubby is asked some pointed questions about his judicial philosophy, his reasoning, his resume?? What a weenie!

You get the straight Bush party line.
MSNBC sucks and CNN blows because Blitzer is an asslicking toady-boy.

11. Exactly. Tune in when Fox & Friends comes on ... |
|
... and you'll know the day's PUB talking points.
I have a theory that it's tied to Rove's morning, er, evacuations, if you know what I mean. He takes a crap and they form it into talking points.

8. If a democratic nominee's wife had cried, she'd be a "wuss". |
|
"What kind of man are we nominating for the Supreme Court, or for any important public office, if his own immediate family can't handle the rigors of the public spotlight? Maybe this isn't the sort of firm resolve that we need in a true time of crisis."

9. Cavuto is so ignorant. He said inflation was from the robust economy. |
|
While this is sometime the cause of inflation...it is not the cause of inflation today. No, what we've got today is the result of poor fiscal and monetary policies that have been going on for years.
Between the twin deficits...the fact that since Nixon took us off the gold standard, they've been printing money like crazy (for 35 years)...and Bush's irresponsibility...the dollar is sliding. When the dollar becomes less valuable, the cost of commodities go up (like oil). And those costs get spread around (everything becomes more expensive).
For more info....look up about Saddam selling oil in euros (started in September 2000). Also look up about the Iranian oil bourse. Knowing about these two events puts everything else into perspective.
