Ben Freaking Nelson says he'll vote for Alito
"So far I have seen nothing during my interview with the nominee, the background materials that have been produced or through the committee process that I would consider a disqualifying issue against Judge Alito," Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., said.

1. Why don't the voters get rid of this DINO?
Women need to remember this vote as Alito works to over turn Roe v Wade.

3. He's only in his first term.
The bad news is, it makes a filibuster that much more unlikely.

5. That's what I told Dianne's office today. "I have six nieces
and I expect Dianne to support a filibuster."

2. A bridge too far
Ben, you can shuck and jive to the right to satisfy the ruddy asses of your Nebraska voters, but this is not a gimmee for the cornhusker sensibility.

This is the survival of the Republic, dunce!

4. Please don't tell me these people are better than Repubs...
They are worse. Just when you need them the most, they stab you in the back. At least, you know where the Repubs stand.

7. I'd be shocked if he didn't.
Except for the 'D' in front of his name, I've never seen a credible reason why he even calls himself a Democrat.

8. Yeah, it's no surprise.
His voting record is dismal.

12. He's the only Democrat I will give a pass to on this
Bright red Nebraska, up for re-election this year, and Bush is in the mid-50's in Nebraska.

We only need 41 for a fillibuster.

13. Conservative Democrat aids and abets...
... the right wing of the Republicans. Film at 11 (if it isn't self-censored first).

14. OMG, Freaking Nelson!
What a DINO, Repuke enabler. I'm already harassing LIEberman on Alito; the staffers were quite "unfriendly" but that didn't stop me from faxing him as well.
