Dear Mr. Dean & the DNC:
I have a check sitting on my desk made out to the DNC. However, I have been reluctant to mail it. What I have witnessed this week during the Alito hearings has caused me great concern. Judge Alito must be filibustered. This is the point in time when Democrats should be taking a stand in unison. Alito is a threat to America's freedom, democracy, and the individual's rights. My check will be mailed, if and only if, the Democrats filibuster. If Alito is not stopped, I will have to seriously consider voting for a third party candidate in any future elections.
Thank you for your time.
I am sending this to my senators as well as Harry Reid.

with Alito first. If he gets through no check will be sent. Just a letter from me
explaining why no money will be sent with the pledge card.
