Dear Senator Reid and Governor Dean

Dear ______,

Today I received my 2006 Democratic National Committee 2006 Membership Form. It will be my great pleasure to fill out the form and renew my membership with a financial contribution. I will do so as soon as I see news the Democratic Senators are doing everything within their power to block Judge Alito's elevation to the U.S. Supreme Court.

By no means do I intend this as a threat. This has simply become a personal test of Democratic activism in Washington. When my Democratic representatives have demonstrated their willingness to exercise their power on behalf of my rights I will be able to renew my membership with full confidence.
