Bush wants to know why al Qaeda is calling you
President Bush stated "If somebody from al Qaeda is calling you, we'd like to know why."

I have given this statement some thought:

In order to "intercept" these al Qaeda phone calls one would presumeably have to know the "terrorist's" phone numbers. If they know the cell phone numbers of all these al Qaeda members then they can find their location via satellite tracking. The administration claimed they were monitoring Bin Laden himself for a period. Why didn't they trace the calls and go get him or any of these other al Qaeda members?

Very fishy...

I also find it hard to believe that a member of al Qaeda doesn't know he can't use the same phone more than once. I mean come on, even I know that and I am not being pursued by the U.S. government.

So this leads me to believe they either know the location of all al Qaeda operatives in the Middle East and who they call here and for whatever reason aren't arresting them OR they are monitoring every phone call made from the Middle East to the U.S. which I would like to point out means every American serving overseas that calls home is being monitored and all of the members of the media that are in the Middle East calling home.

I'd love to know everyone's thoughts on this especially someone with some technical knowledge about how satellite tracking works. I know I can go to http://maps.google.com and look at my own house from a satellite. TIP: It's also a great way to look at a new house you want to rent or buy without taking the time to drive there.

2. Simple, no "checks and balances"
In all levels of our government we have checks and balances including the CIA and NSA. If the rethuglicans want a dictatorship they should just say so and quick screwing around.

I've always said the Royalist of 1776 are the repukes of today. God, King, and country is where they want to be.
