Santorum- We'll stop "undermining", when YOU explain the DSM!!
Dear Senator Rick Santorum,

Months ago, I wrote you a letter about the Downing Street Memo, and surprisingly, you wrote me back 1-2 months after the DSM was published in the UK:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/7/18/124429/127">Rick Santorum responds to Downing Street Memo in detail!

http://www.nbc10.com/news/6026579/detail.html?rss=phi&psp=news#">Today, you lash out at liberals who are undermining support for Iraq. Senator Santorum, if I did not make this clear enough in the first letter, let me say it again: The Downing Street Memos basically prove that Bush lied about everything about Iraq before we invaded. The evidence is apparently supported by reams of other evidence, such as what's in the http://rawstory.com/news/2005/House_Judiciary_Democrats_issue_report_alleging_1220.html">270 Page, 1,000 Reference Tome from House Judiciary Dems 1 month ago. You acknowledge the Downing Street Memos, yet offer no plausable explanation for them. The Bush Administration has no response to the Downing Street Memos either. If Bush told the truth, why can't he explain the DSMs and put them to rest? It's going on 10 months that the DSMs were published in newspapers around the world. Until you and other Bush supporters find a way to deal with the DSMs and the redundant evidence that supports the DSMs, we'll continue to "undermine" an administration that lied our soldiers into war.

1. If you look at that report by Conyers et al.,
and additional sources, like Rep. Waxman's report, there's reason to doubt almost every single claim the Bush administation ever made about Iraq WMD, or any other public rationale for the war. War was the only option for Bush. It's difficult for the Reality Based Community to support a war where the No.1 killer of US troops is your president's lies.

And considering we helped Saddam in the 1980's, when we knew he was using WMD, just brings the whole fuckeduptitude of the situation to a level that can only be described as recockulous.
