Homeless: yesterday I heard the totals ... |
|
I was listening to Ed shultz say that there are 82,000 homeless in L.A.. If there are that many there how many are around the country? I do not see how bush still gets away with these phoney totals about job numbers. I suspect that these numbers have really grown since he has been in office. With all of the layoffs around the country I don't see how we don't have more of an outrage in this country.
Other countries are looking at how stupid people are in this country and how this countries priorities are screwed up.Repugs can listen to this non-pres tell them that he is helping other countries while this one is going down the drain, what the hell are the soldiers fighting for the destroyed U.S.A.. Oh, I forgot they are fighting for our freedoms, the freedoms to die in the streets from homelessness and to be beaten to death because your country doesn't provide affordable housing and jobs.
Any repugs listening and anyone who thinks that they are going to run to another country , can forget it he has stretched his hands all over the world and every country is unstable because of this man you can run but you can't hide. Whenever Bush does leave office where do you think he will go on vacation out of this country ?

4. What the heck is wrong with LA? |
|
Don't they have any programs?
I am very proud of Tallahassee's homeless programs. Nobody has to stay on the street. We have places..apartments, cluster homes, missions, enough for everyone and plenty of social programs to get them started in apartments and with jobs. It really is a model, and we have a lot of homeless because of our mild weather.

9. I'm sure if Bush was forced to pay attention to this issue ... |
|
... he'd award Halliburton yet another multi-billion dollar, no-bid contract to look into it.
The RW are probably keeping mum on the topic, while they figure out a way to put a lien on the average lean-to for those who are (or will soon be) homeless due to credit card debt.
"Excuse me, sir, but have you paid your property taxes on that cardboard box?"

I can't believe this goes on in the richest country in the world. But we have money for tax cuts for the rich right and money for Iraq after we obliterated that place and killed scores of civilians. For god sakes, we can't even take care of our own people!!!! Arg, it makes me so mad!!!:grr::mad::grr::mad::grr::mad:

They are pretending now to be caring, and popping up all over the place acting like they care.
