Let's revisit our views on the electronic voting machines used throughout the nation.

1. I live in Canada, and therefore vote on an absentee ballot.
That means my paper-trail vote simply gets ripped up and thrown in the garbage, as opposed to having to be fed through a machine before it is ripped up and thrown in the garbage.

3. Lots of sites out there document E-voting dangers. Mine is cartoon.
Think of it as the classic comic site for people concerned about E-Voting.

Enjoy.

5. the Leon county hack by blackboxvoting crew says it all
That to me was unbelievable. News worthy of a front-page cover treatment in the NY Times, Washington Post, WSJ etc. Of course that would only happen in my imaginary, utopian, fair, fantastic Socialist world that will probably never exist..

6. You forgot the LOL choice!
I have to wonder who here doesn't think these machines can be hacked. How much evidence do they need?

8. If we have any chance to reform our election process
we should switch to paper ballots. Look, any system can be tampered with but I feel perfectly fine with paper ballots than those damn Diebold machines that gave Bush Inc the election. I'm not confident because I don't see any strong opposition towards this; the Dems don't want to face facts and the Repukes are living high.

13. Its the wrong question.
The right question is: Is it acceptable to have voting systems that are open to non detectable fraud.
We dont know with absolute certainty that there has been fraud, but we dont need to either. We need accountability.
