More media consolidation. Two and a half trillion in national debt. $4 billion to mandate voting equipment to remove the paper trails. No exit polls. Still can't smoke a joint in peace. Invade two countries with Iran in the wings. Military spending higher than ever. Real wages going down. Record energy cost and profits. Record pill sales with people sicker than ever. Lost to the worst president ever two times. Did away with the EPA superfund, allow more pollution than ever, increase drug testing on people in prison, schools, and on probation but don't test a dozen fish a year for mercury. Pass a stupid law for education that was based on lies and Enron accounting and can't call it the mistake it is, the person that takes your order at the drive-in window is in India along with the new wave of air traffic controllers. Shift pension cost from industry to a government fund to reduce benefits, pass a pill provision that cost a hundred billion a year to the taxpayer and seniors still don't have medicine. See health insurance cut, union jobs disappear. Forget the company pension. National Park Service requires loyalty oath with more to follow. Death penalty if you give two bucks to the wrong people. The government spies on you and you pay for it. Government can go into your house without a warrant and arrest you if you tell. Have secret laws. Make new laws that are retroactive. You are a terrorist that can be tortured and held without trial indefinitely for reasons that nobody can cite. And you still think an Empire-building drug warrior will save you if it happens to be a Democrat.

Maybe you should relax and take it easy. You might be making it worse than it would have been. Maybe Georgie is just proving you shouldn't piss him off.

Maybe it's just Groundhog Day and tomorrow we will have figured it out.
