Even though a lot have used the terms DNC, DSCC, and DCCC a lot, some are not aware of all the things that are at the websites that are useful for looking things up and staying up to date.

Here is the website from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee of which Rahm Emanuel is chairman.

http://www.dccc.org/races/

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, with Chuck Schumer at the helm, has one as well for the Senate races.

The Democratic National Committee of whih Howard Dean is chair has a page which tells what is going on in the various states as far as organizing goes.

http://www.democrats.org/local.html

The Democratic Governor's Association has a great website as well.

The DLC is not part of the party proper, it is a think tank, so I am not listing it here.

Here is the whole Democratic organization on this page at the DNC. Keep it handy.

1. At the Florida DCCC link, I found more sad news.
At least for those of us who supported Jan Schneider against Katherine Harris.

Jan beat Christine Jennings then in the primaries, and made a good showing against much stronger Harris than now. Here is a long list of Jan's endorsements from 04:

Sarasota Herald –Tribune
The Herald
Venice Gondolier
Pelican Press
Alliance for Retired Americans
American Association of University Women PAC
Brady Voter Education Fund
Business & Professional Women USA/PAC

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers PAC
Teamsters Union PAC
United Auto Workers PAC
Florida Consumer Action Network
Florida League of Conservation Voters
HillPac (Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton)
Manasota Veterans for Common Sense

National Organization for Women PAC

National Women’s Political Caucus
People for the American Way PAC
Planned Parenthood Federal PAC
Sierra Club PAC

Now the big money party leaders are stepping in for Christine Jennings who lost to Jan last time. I was especially surprised at Boxer. I may need to start a whole post about this, because it makes no sense unless they just want very rich people to run.
