Party of the Military? Not |
|
I just finished reading Bob Cesca's latest post at Huffington Post. Like Bob I have for years wondered how it was that the Republican Party could claim to be more patroitic than the Democrats and have people belive them when they smear any military personnel who opposes them, send soldiers to war without adquate equipment, and underfund the Veterans Administration. I have never thought the Republican Party was better on military issues than Democrats. The more research I did on the Republican Party the more I realized they did not truly support the military. I am very happy that people are now starting to point out that the Republican Party does not truly support the military.

1. I've often thought it would make a good series |
|
of posters-"The GOP Doesn't Support the Troops"-that banner followed by one simple fact, like:
1. They have not provided adequate body armor and needless deaths/maimings have resulted.
2. They have cut back on veteran's benefits.
3. They have shafted the National Guard
I mean you could go on and on-and give sources for your claims.
