MURTHA: War "It sears the soul"
Murtha says most troops will be home by Jan 1 2007.

God bless him, he's fighting almost by himself in Washington. I am outraged that every Democratic representative isn't as vocal as Murtha. I think it'd be nice if they would all get together at the beginning of the new year and do a group photo op announcing full support behind Murtha and his call for protecting the troops by bringing them home immediately.

Murtha finished with, "I feel a mission here with my experience that I have to help the President with a way outta this thing".

Amen

3. Yes, it must sear the soul
I have never had the experience of war. Ever.

I know Murtha has, and has been the go-to guy on the Hill when it comes to war matters.

I love this man!
I am stunned that none of the Dems have really rallied behind him. He has the crudentials and is very plain spoken.

6. And Bush will claim that it was HIS idea all along.

When Murtha said troop "withdrawal" within 6 months, the Republicans were outraged and accused him of wanting to "cut and run".

But when Republicans want to do the SAME THING in 6 months, they refer to it as a "phased withdrawal" or "cutting" the troops.

Don't worry Bush will take credit for ANYTHING Murtha can get going. Why do you think Republicans always accuse Democrats of not having a plan? Because THEY (Republicans) don't have one...and they want to use the Dem plan!

Watch it happen.

As Murtha said...(at town hall meeting in Virginia)...he's tired of the Republican rhetoric, he wants some substantive solutions!

I hope ALL the Democrats stand behind Murtha.

9. you go YadaYadaYada!!!
thank you for thanking him, what a great sentiment.

these liars in washington dc need to be continually called out, and Murtha's doing it, the other cowards on the issue (like Udall of CO), should feel such shame, when they KNOW he's right!

BOOT EM OUT SOON!
