Gore opposes Alito! Support him by supporting a filibuster. |
|
Now is the time. Take the energy boost from his speech and flood the Senate with calls and e-mails. We can still do it. Especially contact Reid and Feinstein. She was there at the speech today. Lets flood her with e-mails to change her position.

1. He didn't say anything about |
|
supporting a filibuster, and he did mention respecting those who do support Alito. Time to face facts: Case wasn't made, not enough dems to support it, no public support. It doesn't matter who you bombard with e-mails, it's quite clear that the dems don't have the numbers.

2. I am tired of giving up without a fight! Gore clearly stated that Alito's |
|
theories were a danger to the constitution itself. The constitution is worth a filibuster and worth us busting our butts for.

3. The public is in a drug induced coma |

Most of them don't even care about the Bill of Rights or the rest of the Constitution. They only care about their own shit, as long as it isn't happening to them, they don't care about anything else.
Why would we be surprised that a majority of Americans are no different from a majority of Germans that chose to ignore the Nazi crimes, often committed within sight of their homes.
The DLC appeasers have so infected the Democratic Party that it may be on the verge of irrelevancy.

4. Well, what about us? Do we care? Should we just shrug our shoulders and |
|
say "Oh well"? I refuse to be a good German. I think that Gore clearly laid out his concerns about Alito today. This should energize us to fight. How can we complain that our leaders are complacent if we are too ready to give up. Just a few days ago, a post got over 200 recommendations urging the senate to "Shut it Down". Have we lost our steam so soon? This appointment is momentous for all of the reasons that Gore so eloquently outlined. If we were really moved, we should be moved to action today. Today we can make a difference. Tomorrow might be too late.

5. I refuse to be a good German, and I reject the appeasers among the Dems |
|
who are constantly preaching caution, another word for surrender. Alito's nomination must be filibustered. Bush must be impeached. http://www.acslaw.org/http://www.libertycoalition.net/

7. State of Public doesn't matter. All that matters is this: Will You Act? |
