If I were a Democratic Congressman, I would present legislation.. |

requiring that the President cease and desist from all spying and eavesdropping that was not in accordance with the present laws on the book. It would also state that failure to follow the law would make him subject to impeachment and prosecution. All Congressmen would be required to take a stand on this issue. No more sitting on the fence or rubberstamping.

But it could be presented on local radio, NPR, C-SPAN after hours, or elsewhere. But the seed has to be planted before anything can grow. You are correct in that the Repubs in charge would not let it be brought to the floor as independent legislation...
