I e-mailed Bill Nelson's(D- Sometimes) office last night
I told him that if he doesn't come out for filibustering Alito this week, I am going to file to run against him in the primary.

He was one of a handful of Dems who didn't take part in the earlier filibusters of shrubs judicial nominees.

2. Feinstein's recent comments won't make it any easier for Dems to vote NO.
Note in parentheses mine.

Mercury News Washington Bureau

WASHINGTON - California Sen. Dianne Feinstein announced Sunday that she would vote against Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito, but she warned her fellow Democrats not to try to block his confirmation with a filibuster.

"This is a man I might disagree with. That doesn't mean he shouldn't be on the court,'' Feinstein said on CBS's ``Face the Nation.''

She described Alito as ``clearly qualified'' and said she was ``very impressed with his ability to maintain a very even demeanor during this entire thing and his ability not to specifically answer any questions.''

Feinstein, a strong abortion-rights supporter, voted against the nomination of Chief Justice John Roberts in the fall because of her concerns that he would vote to overturn Roe vs. Wade, the landmark 1973 court ruling guaranteeing a woman's right to an abortion. As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Feinstein pressed Alito on his views on abortion during his confirmation hearing last week, and said she was not satisfied with his answers.

"I'm going to vote in opposition, I believe,'' she said Sunday. (Not even a firm No vote from Feinstein, or so it seems.)
