Bush Like Pinochet.

Some of the stuff Gore mentioned that Bush wanted to do sounded like the disappearances of Latin America under Pinochet. The idea of being able to arrest someone put them in jail and not tell their family that they have been arrested or where they are seems like what happened Pinochet.

2. Sadly, the only reason bush can do the same stunts as Pinochet

is because the US Congress allows it by swallowing the crap the junta tells them about presidential authority!

Remind them of that every day between now and November! They can start doing their friggin job or we will hire a team that will!

If the President admits to breaking the law and Congress sits there, that seems to indicate a problem with oversight!
