Anybody know how a conservative's brain works?
Knight-Ridder did a profile of scalito which stated (in a nutshell) he is a conservative who judges in a conservative way. Judge the issue for yourself.

http://www.realcities.com/mld/krwashington/news/nation/13602646.htm

And what happened? Conservatives trashed the article and Knight-Ridder stating the article was inaccurate and not objective.

Heavens! If he were not a conservative voting in a conserative way why would conservatives support the man?

Conservative supporters of bush which include the religiously insane, the KKK, Aryan Nation, and rich folk who don't give a flying dog fuck about our country as long as the tax cuts continue to roll in are the number one domestic enemy of the constitution. And as a group they are pretty fucking ignorant as well.

2. OK, this is a trick question. Right?
I *almost* got to watch a whole roomfull of conservative "brains" explode last night at my in-laws. At 8:00 I turned on C-span so they could be enlightend listening to Gore. Unfortunately, the munchkin's mom sabotaged my plan and put in a video for the kiddles that were present.

3. Conservatives lack generosity of spirit.
They are consumed by fear that they will lose what they have (since they got it not by ability but by inheritance or fraud). They feel inferior and empty and have giant vacuum cleaners out to suck up all power and all money. But they will never get we have.....soul, so they will never be contented or at peace.

7. I'm sure some of our current conservatives got rich through brains....
But no names come to me right now. Of course, some folks who own a McMansion & two SUV's think they are rich.

5. Conservative brain - being dragged kicking and screaming
toward the future . . .

"Evolve? Hell, no. I'll stay a paramecium"

"Revolution? Not me, I'm in line for a lordship . . . besides, that Jefferson fella is a terrorist . . ."

"Get a Horse!"

"It will never fly!"

Conservatives enjoy all the perks that the progressives fought (and died) for . . .

A few years ago said something along the lines of:

We are divided by two idealogies. Liberals believe that people are basically good and just need a little help along the way. Conservatives believe that people are inherently evil, and they require (God's) law to force them to be good.

Everyone to whom I showed that, Liberal or Conservative, said "right on!" and thought it painted the other side in a bad light. So, yes, Conservative brains clearly do work differently from Liberals. But explain it?

For another example, here's a joke I heard in bar:

"What do you call someone who speaks two languages?"

"Bilingual."

"What do you call someone who speaks three languages?"

"Trilingual."

"What do you call someone who speaks one language?"

"American!"

After everyone laughed the guy telling the joke said, "and the funniest thing is, it was a MEXICAN who told the joke!". I asked why he thought that was odd as the joke was clearly poking fun at Americans. This produced another round of laughter after which everyone else in the bar (I was the token Liberal that day) tried explaining to me how the joke was clearly meant to make fun of non English-speaking immigrants. Their take on this joke made no sense to me and visa-versa.

choice and make an incision near the anus. Carefully, sever the intestine right at the anal sphincter. Anything that can now get through that sphincter and make it to the brain is almost a good candidate for a Conservative. But, to finish the operation completely, you must reconnect the severed intestine back into the esophogas. Now the mental feasts are easily regurgitated at one end, fresh input from the other end will be an a-maze-ing display of higher order thinking.

To reset the conservative brain, in case of a faulty start, simply take a stout broomstraw and with a pithy jab through the nasal passage into the brain, do the job. The brain has no nerves to register pain so the practioner can be of ease when the need arises to reset the conservative brain in your home or workplace.

There are no current EPA or OSHA rules or regulations on this subject as they were systematically deregulated by the Nixon and Reagan administrations.

16. the term "conservative" has lost all meaning
the bush administration isn't conservative. they are fascists who have co-opted the term "conservative."

conservatives believe in smaller government, not more intrusive government. conservatives don't believe in nation building. conservatives believe that people can do whatever they want as long as it doesn't affect their property values. conservatives believe in overall tax reduction, not tax reduction for the very rich at the expense of the middle class. conservatives don't believe in huge deficits.
