Golden Globe Winners Make Political Statements
Golden Globe Winners Make Political Statements
January 17th, 2006

Last night’s Golden Globe Awards winners were an ode to the recent movies that have had underlying political messages. Brokeback Mountain won 4 Golden Globes, but the real news maker last night that has caused some stir in the conservative sector was George Clooney, for his slam against Jack Abramoff, when he accepted the Golden Globe for best supporting actor in Syriana. Poor Michelle Malkin was offended by Clooney’s joke calling it insipidly crude…

“I want to thank Jack Abramoff, you know, just because-I–I’m the first one out- lets get this thing rolling. I don’t know why. 3. I saw that..George has
guts and got extra talent in the talent gene pool. And he's CUTE!

I notice the articles in the corporate media article I read on the Golden Globes didn't mention what Clooney said although they wrote every little tidbit that the other winners said...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

6. I don't think that's a political calculation.
The gossip reporters may figure that most people reading gossip about the Golden Globes aren't familiar with Jack Abramoff.
