Is Voting about Parties or Principles? |
|
In light of VP Gore's speech with respect to fundamental political issues and current events, what is a vote, and who deserves it? AL Gore certainly deserved my vote in 2000. Now I find myself searching the crowd for another worthy candidate
Senator Kennedy has said,"We don't need two Republican Parties". So when do the Democrats go on alert that they are the Opposition Party?
When do Democratic leaders and wannabes start calling lies LIES?
When do Democratic leaders and wannabes start calling liars LIARS?
When will Democratic leaders start speaking to the points of Republican LIES and separating themselves distinctly--on the record--and quit playing political brinksmanship with words. The distinctions are clear: you are either a corporate politician or you are the people's Opposition Candidate.
Opposition Candidates will:
1. Ensure voting integrity
2. Remember that they work for a constituent base that is about people's Welfare, Civil Liberties & Rights
3. Defend the democratic principles espoused in the Constitution of the United States by word, and action, never forgetting that principles of Oversight established by the framers are there as calls to duty and responsibility.
I will never again vote for another candidate who cannot be honest about these ideals.

1. It's about principles. |
|
That's why I've never voted a straight ticket in my life.

2. Parties believe in status quo, people need change |
|
To Empire or not to Empire, that is the question.
