Alex, I'll take Bushisms for $400 - the Wednesday cartoon is UP
The Wednesday cartoon is UP here:
http://www.webcomicsnation.com/neillisst/

Today is our second in the triology this week regarding the Bush administration bombing of a village in Pakistan, the one that was reported last Friday as getting al-Zawahiri, then instead maybe Mullah Omar, then instead maybe 4-5 alleged Al Qaeda members.

We know there were 18 people it killed, at least 14 of whom were women and children.

1. I think we need to check with the judges.
"Ooops" sounds more appropriate.

ps: Another good one, NL.

9. I used OOPS because it's written off so easily, as in OH WELL ...
My Canadian partner on the cartoon said "can you imagine if the US bombed a village in Canada and killed 18?"

And that is the point.

Imagine if the US did this in Israel, or Australia, or France, or China, or Russia, or just about any country in the world that isn't primarily a Muslim state.

Where is the outrage from the average American? How can so many of our countrymen shrug as if it doesn't matter?

8. The troops do as they are ordered. It's the leadership's fault.
Can't these Bush numbskulls figure out they're being played?

How many wedding parties will they have to bomb before they figure out they're getting bad information?

7. We toyed with doing it the other way.
But decided to let Neil say the OOPS.

My Canadian partner on the cartoon wrote me Saturday suggesting we do something about this tragic incident and the cavalier attitude of the Bush administration about killing so many civilians in Pakistan.

We ended up doing three. Tomorrow's addresses the problem of Bush always claiming to get the Number AQ man.

19. Remember Clinton declined taking out innocent people
in a similar strike suggested in Afghanistan in the 1990s when bin Laden was allegedly supposed to be somewhere, and apparently there were a number of innocents around, so Clinton declined? The Republicans pilloried him for it, yet that is precisely an honorable act on Clinton's part. I guess one of the many difference between Republicans and Democrats. Bush's massacre of 18 innocents for nothing was deemed perfectly acceptable by his fan club.

How many wedding parties have they killed now?

Talk about your family values.

10. another Masterpiece!.....
I'm starting to find humor in watching these little rats scurry and make excuses for their actions and/or misactions. What I don't find humorous is the loss of our troops. Fathers, brothers, sons, uncles, are all dying needlessly in this "Businessman's Illegal War of the First Resort for Oil". Americans need to make it known that in no way, shape or form is another loss acceptable. Not one more soldier.. not one more innocent civilian, just simply NO MORE! Saddam is evil, and it was a good thing that he was removed, but the question remains... Who is going to remove our evil dictator??

Unfortunately, DU is better run, than say, Chicago. You have four, hopefully you'll have the fifth by morning. I, alas, cannot give you that.

I hope you're enjoying the cartoon.

I've been making a living today.

Wish I could have been here earlier.

This one is the second of the Trilogy.

Tomorrow we segue back to Bush and the White House.

The Wednesday cartoon is UP here:

31. No, they're drawn, but with some computer graphics used for ...
.. coloration and a few other things.

Most have to be drawn free hand.

I write. The Canadian draws.

I write a storyboard for each one. First I decide how many frames we need, then I write the script to fit the frames. Then I write the storyboard describing the scene.

We have a real good working relationship that predates this cartoon. He's been a cartoonist a long time, and we started collaborating on some stuff about 5 years ago, some special projects. I developed this character and storyline in September, and we kicked it off Sept 11, 2005.
