It's nuts to simutaneously vote "yes" on Alito while watching BFEE crimes
mount. More than nuts it is schizophrenic, psychotic and irresponsible of Dems and Repubs alike. Dont they see that? Why is the Senate so caught up in this kneejerk pious treatment of the Executive Branch in the face of scandals unfolding daily? Is it some weird psycho residue left over from the days we were ruled by royalty? This situation seems unprecedented to me. And just like the recounts were unprecedented, we let ourselves get fucked. I am sure we will all hate ourselves in the morning if * sticks us with two judges and then gets impeached.

1. Best logic I've seen in a long time.
I don't want to fight a fight we can't win.

But if we are going to lose anyway, we better go down swinging.

8. I don't think it's a given that we can't win this fight.
Surely "they" would like us to just role over and play dead.

10. It is just a probabliity.
If we CAN win, then we better fight it out.

And if we can't, we better pick our fight-and it is coming. Sure as hell.

Nobody is going to play dead - not even the brain dead think so - but we better win.

We can win.

2. Nuts is exactly what it is
and I don't understand it either. How can they complain about the way they are being treated, the way we are being treated and then vote for what Bush** wants? It has not made any sense from the very beginning. I don't care who they have been caught with or what awful thing they have done that Rove might expose it is time for them to step up and save the country from these criminals, especially this time.

3. I have been thinking exactly the same thing over
the past week. It truly is unbelievable. They all know that this administration is unlawful and corrupt and no different from countless lawless and corrupt regimes run by tin horn dictators scattered through history. How can they countinue to conduct themselves as if everything were normal? I do not understand it.

9. I tied the two together and demanded they shut the
Senate down again and get to the bottom of the illegal activities in the White House. Unitary Administratin equals dictator. How can we possibly choose someone a criminal is putting in power? :grr:
