Some people crave ice cream - I crave the truth....
I find it incredible that the truth about so many things has been concealed for such a long time. The truth about the election of 2000. The truth about 9/11. The truth about WMDs in Iraq. The truth about the torture. The truth about spying on Americans. And on and on.... My body trembles at the need for the truth.

1. You are driving yourself crazy.
I want the truth also but I certainly won't let it control my life.

There are a lot of very smart people working on getting the facts out.

Be patient.

2. Make sure that you read Gore's speech of Jan. 16th. I think you
will like it a lot.

4. The problem is....
Most of America has the same problem with the truth that I do with food containing lactose, such as ice cream: they are intolerant, and tend to suffer gas, bloating and runniness of the bowels when given too much at once.

Now, if only some genius scientist could invent Lactaid for the media....

5. All I want is the truth
I’m sick and tired of hearing things
From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth
I’ve had enough of reading things
By neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth

No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of hope
Money for dope
Money for rope

No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of soap
Money for dope
Money for rope

I’m sick to death of seeing things
From tight-lipped, condescending, mama’s little chauvinists
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth now

I’ve had enough of watching scenes
Of schizophrenic, ego-centric, paranoiac, prima-donnas
All I want is the truth now
Just gimme some truth

No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of soap
It’s money for dope
Money for rope

Ah, I’m sick and tired of hearing things
From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocrites
All I want is the truth now
Just gimme some truth now

I’ve had enough of reading things
By neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians
All I want is the truth now
Just gimme some truth now

All I want is the truth now
Just gimme some truth now
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth

6. I'm constantly dismayed by people who have no interest...
in finding out the truth. I sense from them a blunt resistance to finding out anything that a) might upset their world view; b) might require them to think independently; c) might cause them to look at network and cable news skeptically; d) might scare them; and e) might require them to actually do something to make America a better place.

I confess to feeling angry and disgusted at this point. And pretty pessimistic.

9. Fragile minds that have way too much....
of themselves...their belief of who they are...invested in the status quo. Reminds me of a homeless, destitute, alcoholic,.. when passing a store-front would look and see in the reflection the person they had been...not who they had become...as long as they keep on drinking...the reality stays in the periphery.
