I wanted to let you know of a change in my schedule. My appearance on tonight's Lehrer's News Hour has been rescheduled. I will let you know when I have more details on any future appearance in this show.

However you can still see me on tomorrow morning on C-SPAN. I will be appearing on C-SPAN's Washington Journal tomorrow from 9:15 am to 10 am EST to talk about the Republican ethics crisis and the urgent need for meaningful reform. So please tune in.

I hope you had a chance to watch my speech earlier this afternoon in the Great Hall of the Library of Congress. It was a great event. If you did not see the speech you can read a transcript of it by going here.

9. Rep Shadegg R-Arizona just got a VERY scared look in his eye

when an independant caller (who usually votes Republican) who is a Vet stated that he was sick of who people are smearing Murtha, Kerry, McCain and Cleland by trying to attack their service records.

He recovered quickly, but his initial response sounded shaky (his voice). This could be a wedge issue for Democrats. A real wedge issue that speaks to the heartland. Those purple band-aids could come back to haunt them if the Democrats learn how to properly make hay.
