that suddenly Osama is now the latest weapon of mass distraction from Rove and company? It seems to me that with all the current scandals, the GOP and the BFEE desperately needed something to pull focus off them. Am I being a conspiracy nut, or am I onto something?

3. I was thinking about that.

I was thinking about trying to establish a correspondence between administration crises & OBL tapes. Problem is, I think you could establish an apparent linkage even if the OBL tapes appeared at random because the WH is always having crises. Of course, if I were a Karl Rove of the Left, I probly wouldn't let this stop me. In fact, it would encourage me to put it together because it would make such good propaganda, probly quite effective on any waffling independent. (I mean, if you're still undecided about the Bushies, you gotta have the acumen of a carrot.)
