This is just sick...Scarface on MSNBC comparing Democrats to Osama |
|
playing osamas comments next to Kerry, Dean and kennedy. Pathetic. This will be the new talking points. WHERE ARE THE DEMOCRATS!!! They should be instantly refuting and condeming this comparison. I don't believe this...I just don't believe it. They are wiping the floor up with us...and we are letting them.

turning them off won't make them go away. Is there not a single democrat out there to issue a press release condeming this...anyone? anywhere? Mark my words...this will be the conventional wisdom among all the media by this time tomorrow night. And all the democrats will sit around asking how this happened.

The only thing they should be saying is the incompetent, corrupt Republican president of the United States has FAILED, for FOUR AND A HALF YEARS to capture the man responsible for killing over 3000 people on 9/11.
He is a FAILURE, and needs to be IMPEACHED for HIGH CRIMES.
Repeat repeat repeat.

36. Along with WHY HASN'T BUSH CAUGHT BIN LADEN YET? |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-20-06 01:05 PM by Carni
Isn't THAT the real issue?
I happen to think that tape is bogus, but aside from that... IF it isn't bogus and IF that was really bin forgotten--then why the hell is he still out bthere fot loose and fancy free to issue his mandates and make his threats?
The bush admin promised to smoke bin laden out of his hole over 4 years ago and all we got instead was a bedraggled Saddam and a massive expensive mess in Iraq.
Seems to me that should be the real issue...where's bin laden?

If enough people turned them off, they would go away because this is a business motivated by money, the amount of which is dicated by viewers.
I'm reminded of a scene from Howard Stern's movie. People who loved him kept listening. Why? They wanted to see what he'd say next. The people who hated him kept listening. Why? They wanted to see what he'd say next. Whether the audience loved him or hated him didn't matter. Both groups listened, so both groups together allowed the station to charge higher fees for advertising.

However, Phil Donahue's show was the highest rated show on MSNBC and they canceled it due to its anti-war stance.
Ratings mean NOTHING to any of the GE owned media outlets.
Get your war on!

35. The Dems aren't aligned with AQ so why should they renounce? |
|
There would be no point in renouncing something so ridiculous--then it would just bring more attention to this stupidity, start a big drama and give the right's blatherings center stage on this issue
Who cares it's an asinine contention.

Saying that the American government is like the cops, and the terrorists are like the theives. And the Dems are on the side of the terrorists and the theives, instead of the cops and the good guys.
We're just horrible, horrible people.
They conveniently forget that we are talking about basic human decency, and rules we set up for ourselves. No one should be above the law, not even the president. And we're not trying to defend the guilty. Just the innocent who get caught up in the same net. You can't hold people forever without a trial. You can't detain them until the war on terror is over, because it will never be over.
These people assume, or pretend to think, that the president will only go after the terrorists, and not his political enemies. Then what is the guy who created "Bush's Brain" doing on a no-fly list then. Or why did Ted Kennedy end up on one.
But then again, it should be fun to watch the next Democrat in office have all those spiffy new powers. The Republicans forget that possibility. Or perhaps they've planned for it.

Democrats need to start shouting that it is because of Bush's incompetence that this man is even alive and they better start doing it yesterday.

12. And THAT was the entire point of the Osama tape! |
|
They absolutely had to have something major to spin the Dems=terrorists line. They've been trying to hype it with little success for a couple of weeks now, and now they're up against a united front of Dem attacks. The Osama tape is just a little too perfectly timed and positioned for the spin they've been pushing so hard. "Look," they can now say, "Osama and the Dems are saying the same thing! The Dems are supporting the terrorists!"
It's a little too pat, doncha think?

Bin Laden wanted Bush as president, so televised his his opposition to him. Bin Laden wants us to stay in Iraq - so he demands that we leave.
No wonder the administration isn't trying to find him. They have a symbiotic relationship.

37. 3 weeks from now there will be a tiny blurb/page 20 the tapes fake |
|
This is how they always operate--spew some fantastic bullshit out that gets 24/7 coverage and then weeks later they'll announce in a very limited fashion that gets no air play-- that ooops! We actually had other *experts* listen to that tape and they now think it's someone tied to AQ and maybe not actually UBL.
I have watched them do this over and over and over again infinity!

Kerry responds to Matthews calling Michael Moore Osama:
"You'd think the only focus tonight would be on destroying Osama Bin Laden, not comparing him to an American who opposes the war whether you like him or not. You want a real debate that America needs? Here goes: If the administration had done the job right in Tora Bora we might not be having discussions on Hardball about a new Bin Laden tape. How dare Scott McClellan tell America that this Administration puts terrorists out of business when had they put Osama Bin Laden out of business in Afghanistan when our troops wanted to, we wouldn't have to hear this barbarian's voice on tape. That's what we should be talking about in America." -- John Kerry

Or should I say...that would be why *HE* supposedly released his tape yesterday--
Cheney and Woolsey were even so bold this morning as to say "now that the public knows UBL is set to attack that they will rethink their questioning of the NSA wire-tapping"
Honestly--there is something seriously wrong with our education system because this should be a no brainer to anyone over about the age of 13.
