If Bush is so concerned with Web-Porn, then he should come clean on GANNON
Edited on Fri Jan-20-06 01:10 AM by Dr Fate
Jeff Gannon- the web-pornographer, pimp, paid media huslter and male-prostitute who was "invited" to the White House on over 100 occasions, according to Secret Service documents.

Now on some of these occasions he was there as a "journalist"- but on many of his visits, there were no press conferences scheduled.

Bush needs to be concerned with the hanky-panky going on under HIS roof rather than using porn as an excuse to collect info on people for political intimidation purposes-which is what I honestly think he is doing.

I'd love to hear a DEM lay it on the line like this. This is all going to far.

One request is that Google provide the government with a "random sample" of 1 million Web site addresses found in Google's search engine index and the other is that it provide the government with the text of all queries filed on the search engine during a specific week.

7. I doubt it's Bush. Now Rove is probably a butchy, bi-sexual type.
Or even totally Butch-John.

That homosexual underworld scene in JFK comes to mind.

4. Google it while you can and learn more.
Tons of independent stories on it. The same "Liberal Media" who could not show enough of Monica on TV refused to cover this or hardly even ask qustions about it.

3. this is another issue they don't really give a rat's ass about..
...but if they chant the right slogans about how they're saving the family from porn, Dobson, D. James Kennedy and Falwell and Robertson will sing hosannas to them.

It makes their base think they are fighting for "morals", meanwhile, they can collect data on political dissenters and perceived opponents.

They may even want to keep tabs on the really smart Republicans who just might figure them out soon enough. Even you "moral" ones out there.

8. "What is all this Gannon business???"
It's the perfect way to put Repubs. on the defensive.

This is the only shit John Q. Public understands:

"Bush needs to clean up the hanky-panky in his press room if he wants to spy on Uncle Harry's nekkid pictures!!!"

11. Probably because the media refuses to investigate it.
Edited on Fri Jan-20-06 09:12 PM by Dr Fate
Start here:

He had little to no previous journalism experience, previously worked as a male escort, and was refused a congressional press pass.

Perhaps more notable than the frequency of his attendance, however, is several distinct anomalies about his visits.

Guckert made more than two dozen excursions to the White House when there were no scheduled briefings. On many of these days, the Press Office held press gaggles aboard Air Force One—which raises questions about what Guckert was doing at the White House. On other days, the president held photo opportunities.

On at least fourteen occasions, Secret Service records show either the entry or exit time missing. Generally, the existing entry or exit times correlate with press conferences; on most of these days, the records show that Guckert checked in but was never processed out.

16. Agree 100%
And we all should be insisting on it, and insisting that our representatives ask about this.

If the Justice Department's #1 priority is Web pornography, will they be investigating the pornographic site maintained by rightwing "journalist" Jeff Gannon?

Furthermore, when I hear that the Justice Department is asking for "a random sample of 1 million Web site addresses", the siren that goes off in my head is screaming "fishing expedition". Somehow I thought those were legally questionable?
