Abstract: Just a day after CNN Headline News announced it was adding conservative talker Glenn Beck to its lineup, CNN said former Oklahoma Republican Congressman J.C. Watts would join that news network as a regular contributor.

5. I am in contact..

.. with Comcast at the moment, several emails and calls have been made. I am trying to get them to remove CNN from my Channel guide. Advertisers cannot tell how many people are turning off CNN, however if people ask their cable operator to remove the channel that is quantifiable.

They don’t listen to letters, I have sent hundreds over the past 4 years. We need to hit their bottom line.

Send the hate mail to CNN, but also let their advertisers know you have stopped watching CNN and why you have. Then pick the advertisers that run ads during Glen Becks time slot and let them know you will boycott their products as long as they buy space during that slot. It would be nice if we could get something like this organized. DU would be a great place to run boycotts out of, it could really expand our voices.

There aren't enough shit for brains Busheep in this country to justify ONE right wing news channel, let alone three. CNN, like MSNBC before them, cancelled shows that were getting great ratings. And they were getting great ratings because they told the truth, NOT the Bush lies. Phil Donahue on MSRNC being the most obvious example.

If CNN went left, or even middle, they would kick FAUX's fascist ass in the ratings. Of course the CIA subsidiary AOL won't let that happen. Ted Turner should sue whoever he needs to sue to get his network back.
