Conyers' hearing. In between we had Bush lawyers justifying wimpily and possibly incriminatingly. Then, his most honored, favored, and protected enemy made another phony speech. We still have to hear the late Friday WH declaration.

I think the Gore speech was the most important rallying cry of my lifetime. I think the hearing today was a constitutional lifesaver and will kick things off quite nicely along with the ACLU actions.

1. And I saw a short clip (on CNN) of Rove speaking to the RNC today -
He referred to Bush as President Blow and then corrected himself.

9. President Blow? Is that like my husb...? I think we have a nickname!
It's only fair that Turd Blossom gets to name JR! President Blow! The only context I accept the "president" thingy.
Pray tell - what did Rove intended to say when Dr Freud took over?

10. I believe he was thinking the President Sucks, but his mind rebelled
at the last second to the opposite.

6. I've printed up copies of Gore's speech....
....and whenever I am at a doctor or dentist's office, I will UNOBTRUSIVELY leave a copy mixed in with the worn out magazines on the side table. Hey, even if ONLY ONE person looks at it....it's a step forward.

(50/50 chance that ONE will be a Republican, too....but doesn't hurt to try...)

7. I believe that Gore's "speech" was the most important speech
every made by an American politician. I pray that it doesn't get buried by the "Republican Media".

The speech (1) explained how we got to the current bad situation, (2) gave steps to remedy it and (3) was presented at exactly the right time.

I don't think Mr.Gore is actually seriously considering another run. However, I believe that we should prevail upon him to once again, subject himself to the terrible process of candidacy. With enough support, I think he would make the run.

We do have some other honest and intelligent politicians, i.e. Conyers, Dean, Clark, Boxer and others.

on C-Span. I watched it for the first time - it was held January 13th. I'm not a lawyer, but I could follow it. I recomment it if it is going to be shown again or you can view it in other ways.

Daniel Ellsberg and NYT former brass - interesting timing in relation to our NSA tapping crisis.
