With the seemingly emminent confirmation of Samuel Alito to the United States Supreme Court, the word "filibuster" has been heard almost as much as "Brangelina" this week. While the punditocracy will have us believe that Judge Alito will be just dandy in his role as SC Justice, those of us in the reality based community know that the exact opposite is likely to be true.

The truth about this issue lies not in the details about the Judges judicial history, but in the nomination itself. To be sure, I think that appointing this creep to the highest court in the land will be the cement poured over the coffin of american democracy which-as you all remember- was buried on December 12, 2000.

That being said, this nomination, and the filibuster which I feel must be excercised here, are both more a reflection of Commender Bunnypants and his mal-administration than of Alito himself.

You see, Mr. pResident, we the people just dont trust you to make important decisions anymore. We tried to trust you. Repeatedly. And every time we did, you let us down, lied to us, and abused our trust. You are a poor decision maker. You are a poor judge of character. You are a poor leader. You are a poor ambassador of american ideals. You are, Mr. pResident, the worst pResident ever.

So, the democrats must filibuster your nominees, at any cost. You are a totally unfit commander in chief, who has squandered the goodwill of the world and the american people, looted the treasury, and lied about every important issue before you since the day you were installed by the supreme court.
