So I'm watching the King's speech on CNN right now... |
|
and he's going on as usual about 9/11 (or SEP-tem-ber the eleventh, as he prefers to linger on it). And he said that there are some (meaning Democrats, of course) who see it as "an isolated incident" that shouldn't be thought about very much.
Can anyone think of one person who has referred to 9/11 as an isolated incident? Because there is a roomful of people at some school in Kansas being given that impression right now.
These people (meaning the boy king and whoever wrote the speech or is feeding it to him) will stop at nothing to make their opposition look weak and disinterested. I always knew this, I suppose, but it's breathtaking to see such a vivd example of it. And CNN is just going along, giving them essentially free air time. It's terrible.

otherwise, he would not be mumbling on at such length... trying to explain why he, and he alone, has the right to break the laws of our country...I cannot believe the people buy his crap.

3. Well, he can't have it both ways. |
|
If he and cheney insist on taking credit for there being no terrorist attacks since 9/11*, it's an isolated incident.
*Of course, when they say that, they're "forgetting" about the anthrax attacks.

4. Bush thinks Bin Laden shouldn't be thought about much and said so. |
|
But, I doubt the media will remind the viewers that Bush said that. In fact, when Kerry brought up that very point in the debates, the media decided to NOT DISCUSS it - might make Bush look like he's soft on terror, or incompetent.
Can't have that.
Corporate masters will withhold paycheck.

6. This speech is a tune-up for his State of the Union next week. |
|
Like a standup, he likes to test lines and practice them before his HBO special.
He's using the same old crap, with a few new lines thrown in to freshen the spiel.
They must have fine-tuned his chemical fuel to get him on that HIGH he needs to function.

It'll be so traumatic to get that piece of info when you're 24.

9. * farts, and the media rushes to cover it. |
|
It's part of the media's becoming more like their entertainment divisions. How else to explain their obsession with airing bush's every speech, all of which are tired and cliched RERUNS of the speches he's given for 5 years?
The * speech in a nutshell: FEAR, TERRA, FEAR, FEAR, TERRA, FEAR, DEMS ARE UNPATRIOTIC...DID I MENTION FEAR?

10. "The airplanes were horrible" |

He appears drunk or on drugs. Jeebuss, he's worse than usual. Jaw on overdrive.
This should be a heckuva transcript. But the body language and meandering, hemming and hawing are priceless.

deserves his castle, his prime ministers, and his serfs.
He has plenty of court jesters. Jobs are filled. From Chris Matthews and everyone who directs and owns him to Pat Roberts to Tom DeLay to Brit Hume and all his drectors and owners.

This Boy King series should be cancelled. |
|
Never has any new writers. No sympathetic characters in the cast. Threadbare recurrent plot lines. Aimed at a shrinking demographic and no redeeming social or educational value.
