Edited on Mon Jan-23-06 02:18 PM by catmother
on fox with chris wallace. McCain made a statement about energy. he said "we don't want to have to depend on the Mulloahs (sp?) in the mid east or the whacko in venezuela." whacko in venezuela? this man wants to be president and that how he refers to chavez who was nice enough to sell us oil at a reduced price after Katrina.

i just hope the american people see the real McCain. right now he's very popular and very well liked, but he's a phony with a very short fuse.

edited for spelling.

3. I listened to McCain!
It's obvious he's a Senator from a warm state, that doesn't need Chavez or his heating oil. I for one don't care for or trust McCain, or his loyal solider routine.

11. Ed Gillespie has already signed on to be treasurer for George Allen's PAC.
This is important. It means doofus George Allen is the choice of the Republican establishment.

And it may be the reason that John McCain will forbid lobbyists (like Ed Gillespie) from serving as treasurers of members of Congress' campaigns as part of his lobby reform legislation. And that is good!

15. Have you ever noticed....
George Allen is a "doofy sounding" speaker.

I guess I never really paid attention to the squinty-eyed Republican. But since he's ditching his senate seat to run for president, I listened to him ramble about something or other on CNN the other day.

He's going to get killed in the debates.

Mark my word. He's a goofball when he opens his mouth for more than 10 seconds.

8. If he were to run, it would be up to Arizonans like you and me to stop it
and let people know who McCain really is. Somehow he's fooled a lot of Americans.

I didn't see the program but I did hear his comment that, "the fact that there has not been an attack on the United States in four years is an indicator of some success." That shows his complete lack of knowledge and understanding of the situation. These Muslims feel they have been in a fight over thousands of years - that's how they view it. Four years to them is like four days to us. It's nothing and it gives no one bragging rights. Not to mention that the "original" attack that he's referring to took place on Bush's watch so how does that make him our great defender??

We need to make sure Americans see McCain for the idiot he is!

9. well hi my fellow zonie. it's like i told some repubs the other day
he has not kept us safe. terrorists are very patient people. they take their time and plan it out well. our borders are a disaster. do people think that airport security is going to keep us safe? they took a little nail scissors away from my 81 year old frail mother.

and yes we will make sure that the american people will see the real McCain.

13. Yeah, we can't have any of that nail-clipping going on!!
Airport security is a joke and now they've even loosened the restrictions! The borders are porous, the ports are almost not checked at all and none of their so-called security measures have made us one bit safer than we used to be. It's scary in my opinion.

17. sorry, really
I'm one of those Birkenstock-wearing, latte-drinking, West Coast liberals (not really, but I accept the gross generalization).

You, however, are a shining example of an exception to my gross generalization regarding middle America.

Edited on Mon Jan-23-06 05:12 PM by The Magistrate
The idea he is "better" than other Republicans is a noxious one that ought not be nearly so widespread as it is....

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"
