Hardball and the dumb ass running for Texas governor
Scotty's mom is sooo fu***** annoying. She will never win, i can tell you that. The democrats have a better chance than she does. She is no Ann Richards and is not an independent, she is a snotty selfish republican that did not get what she wanted from Perry in close door meetings in Austin. Tweety is acting like she is the second coming.

1. I wonder how she liked Tweety professing his love for Scotty.
That guy makes me think he is stroking himself under the desk when talks so loving of members of this administration.

4. hahhahahhah
that was funny, i know Tweety has no shame, he would probably just whip it out and start going at it on top of the desk. He likes the pilsbury doughboy look Scotty has going on.

2. If I were a Texan, methinks I'd rather have Kinky Friedman at this point.
Since the position is basically that of a figurehead, it shouldn't be too tough for him. At least he'd do a better job than Bush could even dream of.

3. Not Kinky, please! I live in TX and there are several qualified
Dems vying for the position.

9. Forget Kinky
We have two solid Democrats running, Bob Gammage and Chris Bell, either of whom will clean Rick Perry's clock. As Democrats, we are glad Carol 4 names 3 parties (her name is Carol Keeton (maiden), McClennen (Snotty's daddy), Rylander (an ex), Strayhorn (current hubby), is in the race since she will continue to garner PR just like she got on Limpball's show.

She is a novelty, will continue to snipe at Perry, and will only damage him. No Democrat is going to vote for her, and, in a 3 way race(or 4 way race if Kinky lasts), a Democrat can win with 37% of the vote.

John Kerry got 37% of the vote in Texas in 2004, and the Democratic challenger for Governor (Tony Sanchez) got 40% in 2002 against Perry. Therefore, she's a net plus for Dems.

10. Kinky Friedman is a bona fide, government stamped idiot
and could do a better job than junior or Captain Goodhair on their best day, ever!

15. We live in the hurricane/tornado zone, we need a real governor
I would love to have Kinky if the Texas governorship really was just an image thing, but after the hurricanes of last season, we need someone who can manage after disasters. My hope is Gov. Goodhair Perry and "One Tough Grandma" fight it out and Dems can take back the Texas White House (the other one, too). But I have to say I like Perry's TV ad -- not that I would ever vote for him -- but to the average Texas voter, it looks very convincing and very Texas-patriotic.

8. Free publicity for this "Texas Independent" (WTH??)
What a phony! She's counting on Republicans voting for "Scotty's Mommy".

Rick "Good Hair" Perry and the "man" his wife found him in bed with? That story went away pretty fast. I say it should be resurrected and some "Swift Boat" spin applied.http://www.opednews.com/thoreau022704_texas_governor.htm

14. Something to Think About
She may be running in order to get Perry out. I think she knows that she has little chance of winning. However, she may be able to get some of the moderate Republicans to vote for her instead of Perry thereby leading to a victory for Chris Bell. In my opinion, if she stays in until the end of the race she is there just to make sure Perry does not win.
