What bothers me about Bush being impeached is ...
that after it's over, I want to see him as a miserable pariah living out the rest of his life in a dark prison, cloaked in shame, fear and loneliness.

But what will probably happen is that he will retire, rich, to his ranch. The only visitors he will allow will be cronies that buck him up and make him feel good about the 'great' president he really was. He won't read the news so will remain unaware of the world's vitriol towards him.

Essentially he will live out a happy, contented retirement, just the way he's always wanted and believe he had a life well lived.

and that really sucks!

1. I doubt there is little we can do to keep the ranch thing from happening
BUT! We need to get these monsters out from behind the desk in our Capitol. We can't wait any longer.

7. Bush Impeachment
My fellow Dems always get mad at me for saying this, but we need a reality check. Bush is not going to be impeached. Of course he broke the law, and if we ever actually find out all the things he did do, they would probably rise to the level necessary for impeachment. But you've got a solid Republican majority in the house, and I doubt that will completely disappear in 2006.
Let's spend our time trying to cultivate a candidate who can actually win southern/western/midwest states in 2008. We're not real good at picking nominees that can do that. Most of the registered Dems I know in Florida, Georgia and New Mexico voted for Bush in '04 simply because our nominee was incoherant and they didn't feel that he had a handle on national security issues.

Think about this: How effective would a President be if he won only the East and West Coast states by just enough to get the electoral college? Not very.

2. He should be exiled
out of the country. He can go bask in his brainchild, Iraq-style Democracy. He can go be their president. Yeah, that's it. No. He should be tossed into one of their prisons. The guy is a creep.

3. What bothers me is that it leaves CHENEY in charge.

5. True, but
Cheney doesn't have any of that famous "down-home" folksy "I'm an ignorant cowboy like the rest of you dumb fucks"-style charm that Bush radiates.

All Cheney has going for him is the ambience of an abusive and wholly unrestrained father who just took off his belt for another round of "I had a bad day at work so someone's getting whipped."

Sure, that's enough to keep the psychotic republican base in line, but will it play well with the so-called moderates? Time will tell (I hope)!

4. It's not a "ranch" it's a movie set. And I've been to Crawford, it sucks.
Well, it sucks if you are used to zipping around on million dollar boats off the coast of Kennebunkport. If ANYONE thinks Wee Cowboy and the Joker will live in Crawford after the faux presidency, they are insane.

And once he is out of the spotlight, his "biking accidents" :eyes: will increase, and I imagine he will be dead of liver failure within 5 years.

6. oh haven't you heard, he's selling the ranch to go back to the City
(not sure which one) after his presidency is over. It was purchased right before he got selected and it was for the Ronald Reagan ranching look, a total prop... Can't remember where I heard this, but ..

12. Two Articles about Bush's Fake Ranch
PHONY TO THE CORE: The "Ole Family Ranch" in Crawford is a Set Completed the Same Day the Election was Stolen
By Cheryl Seal
Have you seen all those article and pictures of Bush "at home on the ranch" in Crawford - the ones that imply that he is "just an ole ranch hand" more comfortable on the family homestead than in the "Big City," be it Austin or D.C.? Well, if you bought this image, you've been royally snuckered. The Bush family homestead in Crawford is nothing more than an elaborate set. The house, built in 2000, was designed to be ready for Bush to step into - like a set awaiting an actor - during the 2000 presidential election. Not only was the "ranch" created in 2000 - so, essentially, was the "town" of Crawford! Before then only about 400 people lived in the area. The Crawford Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture were formed shortly after the ranch was finished.

Fake cowboy, fake ranch: Burnishing an image at the USA Corral
President Bush calls his Prairie Chapel Ranch "a slice of heaven," a special place where he can ride his mountain bike, fish his man-made pond and clear brush to his heart's content.

But is it really a ranch?

Here's a clue: The Secret Service agents now outnumber the cows.

9. Junior's not going to be Impeached
Right now we don't have the numbers in Congress to Impeach Junior, and if we did have the numbers in Congress to Impeach Junior, he still wouldn't get Impeached.

11. Junior won't be impeached, too many people implicated in his scandals
Those people will fight to their death to keep him and his gang out of the limelight,.
This includes the news media as well. There's too much money to be lost if he goes.
He's a worthless piece of history. :puke: :puke:

10. I can't control how Stupidhead reacts or feels
But I can stand up for our nation's principles. If Stupidhead doesn't feel any guilt or remorse for ass-raping the Constitution, there's nothing I can do about that. But I can defend the country and its laws.
