Degrees of spying. Degrees of lying.
Edited on Wed Jan-25-06 02:58 PM by higher class
The regime says they only listen to international calls that are terrorism related.

Not even those who say 'well, if you don't have anything to hide' would find it hard to believe that claim -

Given their abysmal record on ethics, honor, integrity -

Given their pompous arrogance and propensity toward a kingdom and their obvious plan to wipe out the Constitution and Bill of Rights -

Given that environmental groups already know they've been spied on =

Given this regimes' reactions and strategies against whistleblowers =

It's only natural that they are listening to domestic calls in search of whistle blowing chatter to stop it before they have to defend against it -

If you're going to listen to domestic chatter for whistleblowers and environmentalists, then why not listen to politicians -

Then, why not listen in on businesses to help out your corporate friends -

Then, why not listen to all foreign businesspeople or even listen to people who might be listening to your business dealings in Micronesia -

Then, why not listen in to everyone in the public who might be trying to help a member of the military buck their general, write a letter to an editor, avoid demployment, or upload a torture picture to the internet?

Then, why not listen to any dissident chatter to make a decision as to whether they should send in the military or DeLay interns to peak a 'little closer'?

Who's going to believe any spokesperson for the regime when your record on ethics flunks on every level? Including cheating people you have promised to help? Big time.

They may not have realized many successes yet because they haven't stopped the exposure of the kidnappings from Italy, rendtitions, partnerships for landings and prisons, broken treaties with Native Americans, the fact that a genuine journnalist was investigating a strange little fact about Cunningham.

Their pro-active self-protection activities aren't exactly wildly successful.

However, there is probably plenty of juicy stuff, enough to control the right people by blackmail?

1. Why would you not trust the GOP when they say that they only spy on
terrorists?

Remember

Iraq had WMD

Scooter and KKKarl had nothing to do with the outing of V.P.
Iraq was tied to Al-Queda

Harriet Myers was the best qualified for the job

The aluminum tubes could ONLY be used for nuke centrifuges

Mobile weapons labs all over Iraq

Tom Delay is an honest guy

Abu Grahib was a lone incident

Clinton trashed Air force one

Brownie did a heck of a job

Prescription entitlement program would only cost 400 million (a day after it passed it rose to 650 million)

Duke Cunningham did nothing wrong

The insurgents are in their last throws

The oil profits would pay for the war

Social security is dead

Jack Abramoff is an Honest businessman

FInding Osama is our #1 Priority

we have no secret torture prisons

we will only be attacked if john kerry is elected

we will only be attacked if we do not renew the patriot act

reducing taxes for the rich makes reduces the deficit

cutting food stamps, school lunch programs and pell grants makes our country great

we dont torture

drilling in anwr is the ONLY way top rid ourselves from saudi oil

JUST TO NAME A FEW!!!
