Yeah, yeah, Barbara Boxer for President of Earth. But I do love this guy. His speech made me get all teary and patriotic. He's not the smooth one -- he's just the real thing.

6. I'm for it! I've heard the man's speeches, and he's hot! I mean really
hot--full of passion, well-focused, great analytical mind, goes for the fundamental principles at issue--constitutional government, rule of laws not men, common decency. Fabulous speaker! And you really can feel the conviction in him, the self-assurance and the commitment. What he's saying is so heartfelt, so real, so right on, it does indeed make you want to weep. It's as if he sums up--in his person, and his speeches--all that we could be, as opposed to what we have, Bush, who appeals to the worst in people--greed, fear, hatred, selfishness, self-delusion.

I hope he's re-thought NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT and global free piracy--and I strongly feel that he must have done, given what appears to be his thorough vetting of our whole government and political scene. We'll see about that.

But between now and 2008, we really, really, really, REALLY need to...

...throw Diebold and ES&S election theft machines into 'Boston Harbor'--

--if we want to have some say in who our candidate is, and who becomes president.

I have kind of a fanciful ticket. Gore/Kerry. The "Poetic Justice" ticket. The two men who were illegally deprived of the White House. Americans love justice. Add in "poetic," and you have a slam dunk with the American people, I think. The two people we actually voted for. The two people who actually won. And don't think Americans don't know it. They do. (They don't know much about Diebold and ES&S, though, and that's got to change.)

7. P.S. I'd give up my "Poetic Justice" ticket for Barbara Boxer or John
Conyers as V-P. The two pillars of American Revolution II. (Maxine Waters, too--wow!)

10. I would have to say
Gore/Napolitano. What a great ticket that would be. A strong progressive candidate followed by a excellent Latino Governor of Arizona. Unbeatable.

and if she's an attorney, Boxer for AG
Wes Clark, SecDef

13. It's gotta be Gore!
I strongly believe that nobody would make a better President than Al Gore, and therefore he should be the Democratic nominee in 2008. This will only happen if "we the people" and especially grassroots democrats - make it clear that WE WANT GORE and we will accept no less-qualified candidates!

Only if Gore completely rules-out running and publicly endorses another candidate should we even think about giving up this dream - and this fight for justice! When Bush and his buddies stole the Presidency in 2000, they weren't just stealing it from Al Gore - they were stealing it from the American people!

I also agree with the remarks about fair and verifiable voting and vote-counting procedures. This is a fight we cannot afford to give up until we have ensured genuine democratic and fair elections in each of the 50 States in the Union. Personally, I don't understand why Dems in Congress aren't pushing this issue every hour of every day. Their own survival depends on stopping election fraud!

It is way too early for us to be talking about who would be Gore's VP. I trust Al Gore to make the right choice. He will not pick Lieberman again, although I understand why he picked Lieberman in 2000. Lieberman is a member of a minority group and he had strongly criticized Clinton's misbehavior with "that woman" (Ms Lewinsky). This was a way for Gore to send out the signal that he also found Clinton's private misbehavior and public dishonesty unacceptable in a President of the US.

My hunch is that Gore would be open to the idea of once again picking a running mate who was not a white Christian male. He strongly believes in equality and diversity and he knows that actions speak louder than words. But there are many factors that must be taken into account and I trust Gore to make a wise choice.
