3. Never stopped taking UBL seriously, unlike jr.
Unfortunately this secret NSA spy deal isn't going to protect anything but the jobs of the idiots playing with their cell phones at the NSA.

5. put this up on a billboard, commercial etc....
‘I truly am not that concerned about him’, said President George W Bush on 13 March 2002, after being asked the million-dollar question ‘where is bin Laden?’ once too often (5). ‘Deep in my heart I know the man is on the run, if he’s alive at all’, said Bush, brushing bin Laden off as ‘a person who has now been marginalized’ (6).

5.Bin Laden doesn’t concern Bush?!, The New American, 8 April 2002

6. US will take action against Iraq, Bush says, Washington Post, 14 March 2002

15. Yup. It's a flip-flop on a flip-flop. A runaround.
First "Dead or alive."
Then "I'm not that concerned about him."
Then "Take him seriously"

Bush's view of bin Laden changes depending on which view helps Bush with his political purposes at the given time. If you ask why Bin Laden is still free, Bush will tell you Bin Laden is not important. If you ask whether Bush should be wiretapping citizens without a warrant, suddenly Bin Laden and Al Qaeda are big time threats again.

6. I am sure Bush just said that he did not think about the man
Wasn't that said last week when they went into where was he? Can't some one find those quotes? Gee it is more and more like the uncle in the family that used to drink so every one just sort of shakes their head when he comes out with crazy stuff. Such luck, this guy and his side kick are trying to run the place.

8. The problem here is primarily
that there are those of us who, while not taking the threat of bin Laden and terror any less seriously, do not see the fight against it as a "war".

I believe that by assigning Al Queda and bin Laden "war opponent" status, we are raising them to a level they don't deserve.

They are not war opponents. They are ruthless, bloodthirsty, criminal slime of the lowest order, nothing better, and deserve no higher status than the Mafioso's and drug cartels that have killed or ruined millions of our children.

By declaring "war" on them instead of hunting them down like the lowlife thugs they are, Bush and his crew have made them into heroes for anyone with a grudge against us.

9. Why wasn't OBL taken seriously
in the first place after Chucklenuts got that August 2001 warning about OBL's determination to strike inside the USA. Oh I forgot, Iraq was going to attack here first.

13. Honestly! Does anyone really think that we CANNOT
find OSama Bin Laden? We either know he is dead or we know exactly where he is. The whole Osama tape business smells to high heaven.

16. Didn't Bush previously say: "I don't think about him much."
First he blows bin Laden off because he screwed up when bin Laden could have been captured in tora bora.
Now he says: watch out! bin Laden is attacking again...be very afraid!!!

Hey George, I don't see Cheny around so I'll tell you; "Go fuck yourself."
