"What do they have to hide?" More Katrina News
Edited on Thu Jan-26-06 12:57 PM by BOSSHOG
My Congressman, Gene Taylor (D), MS asked that question relative to the white house stonewalling on releasing info about their efforts post Katrina. "Why don't they come forward and say, this is what we knew, when we knew it and this is how we reacted? The WH said tuesday it would deny requests for email and other correspondence among top aides about Katrina.

A closed door briefing wednesday provided to investigators by Ken Rapuano, bush's deputy domestic security advisor did not resolve matters according to Taylor. "IT WAS AS SHALLOW AND PHONEY A PRESENTATION BY THE ADMINISTRATION AS THEY COULD POSSIBLY CONCEIVE," said Taylor who walked out in frustration. Taylor provided a phone interview to the NYT News Service.

Other recent gems from my congressman:

FEMA could screw up a one car funeral procession.

There should be a national registry of insurance company executives like their is for sex offenders.

And the secrecy surrounding the ineptness of the bush administration is perfectly acceptable to "conservatives" in this country.
