being so oblivious ,Idealogy IS a reason to exclude someone from SCOTUS even if they are qualified. I mean a Traitor can KNOW the law inside out,and use his skill to ruin the law because of IDEALOGY or his BELIEFS.. Come on Byrd you know the right thing to do, Filibuster Alito. Stop the fascists now. If you betray the country you will never get elected because republican do not like you.. if you betray the Dems you will never be respected or elected again..You were a good fighter for Dem causes. Don't fizzle out NOW.

It's just like how you can find a passage from the Bible to justify any unsavory behavior, a Traitor can spin the law anyway he wants to justify his beliefs. Byrd should be well away of how this Administration can scew the facts to get what they want... I'm suprised he's falling for it.

Byrd is taking his marching orders from the Religion Industry.
Here's a quote from his website: "I was very satisfied with what Judge Alito had to say about that First Amendment. He indicated that he felt that the people have a very distinct right to express their religious views. "
That's the only part of the First Amendment that matters: the religious part. Political dissent? Sorry. Freedom of the press? Nope.
The Religion Industry said "Froggy," and Robert Byrd said "How high?"
It makes me sick!
