3. Thats my man!!!
He should be president now. He is my choice for 2008. He will win in 2008 if we get him the nomination. With anyone else it will probably be a crap shoot.

5. Heck yeah
He's the only one standing up for us. No Feingold (sadly), no Biden, no Clinton, no Lieberman. Just John Kerry. :loveya:

I may have taken Kerry to task from time to time, but I also believe in standing with a man when he is right.

9. I'm very pleased with Kerry
on this one. At least he's fighting. He should've done more of that last Nov. though. Better late than never I guess.

11. I am by no means a Kerry supporter...
... I thought he ran a horrible campaign, and a part of me continues to suspect his motives.

However, no matter how you slice it, he has done a commendable thing here, even if it turns out to be completely symbolic in the end.

I can never support another Kerry candidacy for president, but I'm at least happy he is there working for us in the senate.

It reminds me of Ted Kennedy, another 'coulda been'. If it hadn't been for the accident at the bridge all those years ago, he might've revived a dynasty, but 1980 showed him to be irreparably tainted.

That being said, Ted Kennedy has turned out to be one of our best, most consistent and strongest senators, and I'm damn glad to have him there.

I believe I may be saying the same thing about Kerry in a few years.

12. This isn't about 2008. It's about saving our democracy
Edited on Fri Jan-27-06 02:38 AM by politicasista
I would rather look to the future. 2006 to be exact. You can waste time and energy rehashing the past, but there are many of us who want to look ahead, not look back.

Thanks JK and Uncle Ted!
