John McCain having trouble selling his mansion
Edited on Thu Jan-26-06 08:56 PM by Egalitariat
It's his wife's. I want to be a US Senator. They must have a program where, if you aren't already rich when you get there, they hook you up with a rich woman to marry. After all, Senators have to live the good life.

2. Tough shit!! People are losing their jobs everyday and worried about
feeding their families - he can "shove" his mansion where the sun don't shine!

5. Oh, the agony of equity
He might try pricing it at the fair market value. The Republican greed instinct reminds me of the monkey and the coconut story. A hollowed out coconut is has a hole cut in it just big enough for a monkey's hand to fit in. When the coconut is filled with yummy fruit, the monkey reaches in and grabs as much fruit as he can get hold of, only now he can't get his hand out. Said monkey won't let go and consider reaching in for a smaller amount of the fruit. He'll just keep his clenched fist on all that fruit til hell freezes over. McCain, stop being a monkey for Christsake!

7. His wife bought a car at the Barrett-Jackson auction........
this past weekend. A Fiat surrey with the pink fringe on top, if I recall.
