A Million Little Lies - Hear CNN repeat adnauseum..."the truth Matters!"
Edited on Thu Jan-26-06 10:36 PM by FrenchieCat
CNN and the other cable stations are going on and on about the Author of "A Million Little Pieces", the lies, etc., etc.... Oprah this and Ophra that....

Ironic that they should point their million little lying fingers at some author, considering what they have done and ARE doing, which is lying in the face of America and distorting, twisting and shading the truth each and every day.

Those Self Righteous Mass Corporate Media assholes have some nerves....
They are about as hypocritically corrupt as the Bush Administration...

I hope that Mr. Anderson Cooper doesn't get overly excited about himself and his "I'm soooo indignant" routine....cause it is starting to wear thin and transparent.

(just ranting, cause the media is driving me to the edge)

1. I just watched Oprah castigate the author. She went on and on.
I couldn't stop thinking the same thing you said, the President, his administration, the media , all are regularly lying about things that are infinitely more serious that the one silly book. The U.S. is going broke, soldiers are dying, the world is hating us and Americans are ashamed to be Americans. Maybe we should talk more about the Bush administration lies.

4. I guess they don't think we "notice"......
That calling a liar a liar doesn't makes you less of a liar if you're lying!

Lying assholes; all of them!

8. I have lost complete faith in the M$M to do the right thing,
by reporting the "left" thing..it's shameful.
My new favorite words - shameful, disgraceful.

6. This is one of those messages from the universe deals
Like the Ukranian election being called fraud because of the "exit polls." Irony indeed. I watched some of Oprah and some of Olbermann who did tie it to Bush lying. But not far enough. As for the lies, misinformation and propaganda of the "media" that's a whole nother story.

Yes, there is objective truth. The president broke the law. Just saying he didn't because you are on is side doesn't change the objective truth. But the media will never present that because they are owned by the powers that be.

7. And for this...
they got rid of Aaron Brown? Because "the truth matters"? So, now CNN want to be a combination of FOX and the Comedy Channel. Hmmm.

9. The Mass Corporate Media is worse than Liars.
They are traitors to the U.S. Constitution and to democracy itself.

10. Count the lies CNN has told since it started
Ever since CNN started it has always been biased towards the Republican Party. Even during the 1988 presidential campaign, Frank Zappa documented thier pro-Bush lies. Then came Clinton and they lied any lie about him. Now they have their puppet in and proclaim him to be God's Chosen leader over us.

you cannot be a loyal American and watch CNN.

11. Frenchie, you made me think of something...
The media are drumming into peoples heads how important it is to tell the TRUTH. Just maybe many Fundies will get the message and make a mental note that that applies to bush* too.

Dems should take up the cry/motto and remind Fundies/hypocrites "It's important to tell the truth! "Rub Fundie noses in it!

12. The Problem Auntie Bush is that they figure if THEY are the ones
saying "it's important to tell the truth", that somehow it means that they do report the truth....which is not at all what's been happening for a long, long time.

In a few days, on a Sunday, there will be a round table of media whores babbling about how they overblew the story, blah, blah, blah....how they could have done it differently, blah, blah, blah....

It's fake "soul searching" for the sake of those who start having doubts about the media's credibility in even how they prioritize the news. And so, they will ask, "did we interject ourselves in it more than we should have?"....and they'll look at each other and say....NAW, not me.

They do this every other Sunday; after Pushing Iraq, after the election debacle, after Chiavo, after New Orleans, after every lie they tell, and every useless story they breathlessly promote, they somehow later act as though they didn't realize what was happening and why.

Big giant assholes, they are!
