DU is practicing the ultimate denial -- something they most often accuse the other side of.

There is a real, bona fide, Constitutional crisis in their midst, and yet, they carry on as if it is business/fights as usual.

Some of us see this clearly and wonder, why don't they correspond and coalesce? Why do they keep taking the lessor bait when the real, humdinger has been tossed out, plain as day, for them to see, respond to, and get behind?

You really want to rally against this and struggle with that. You want to look into the non-existent future and think about elections that may never happen, and if they do, they may be Diebold creations. You want to deal with Iran and Alito and all the other issues that would be very important in a concrete and tangible Republic/Democracy with a solid, Constitutional underpinning. You would want to live in a world where privacy did not go the way of the 78 rpm record right before your eyes.

But no. You are not living in such a slow, gradual World anymore, are you? Things are changing faster than you can keep up with, no matter what your IQ or attention span. Well, you may sense that the people behind the change are very much behind that pace and they have the most to gain from how it affects you now.

There are a thousand-and-one issues that are important to a vast, complex democracy. I ASSURE you now that none of them holds sway to the Constitutional crisis that Bush has boldly layed before you to decide. Your decision may bring blood-shed, for all I know. It is not simple or easily worked into a soap opera or an Ophra show. You have, thanks to this current manifestation of our Executive Branch, a very potent and important decision before you, and you MUST decide that above and beyond any others that have been put out to distract you as a PEOPLE.

If we do not establish, en masse, that the President, a.k.a, the Executive Branch, has no right or precedent to usurp the foundation and documentation that our Forefathers have bequeathed unto us as a people, then we should not waste time being concerned with anything that we would hope ensues from those inalienable rights.

Is that plain and simple enough for you all? Get to the point. Make it the biggest issue. Resolve it. Then, let's get back to basics and fight the good fight within the context we all expected and grew up with. Otherwise, all bets are off. Now wins. You, and your children, and their children, etc., are OWENED! The technology provides for it.

Revolution is an archaic term, in my concepts and understanding. It just exchanges one face for another, equally dismal and ugly one. That is our species.

It only equals, meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

My Constitution is solid like a rock. It is behind everything that my parents and Grandparents fought and struggled for in their own, meaningful and real lives. It is not a mere pittance, or a “goddamed piece of paper” it is a way of life that was hard earned and bought with much blood and suffering from the very start of it all.

Real, thinking, bleeding lives were given to get what I have now and experience, why should today's world manage to persuade me that it is not worth all of our little lives to rally behind and preserve it and present it to the future of Mankind with the greatest of pride in our way? Or is a pop-star, or a movie, or a movie, or a fast-food outlet , or a new car! What is value today?

We do not need an archaic revolution here in America. We have already had it! It was forged by our Forefathers and they did a good, although imperfect job, at it. They even managed to prophesied what might be the most dangerous foe we could come across in preserving it. Bush and is cronies have conjured up a nightmare that fits there worst-case scenarios. We either submit to them, or preserve what we have inherited. It is plain and simple and every American ahs to make this an important meme/issue are now talking about blood and death, as a punctuation, on this issue. We should not have to go there with what our Forefathers gave us, and yet, the tyrant comes forth and demands us to respond! We wither go with death, blood, insurrection, or we take his word and accept Big Brother and constant surveillance in order to survive.

Now, I ask you, if that were the bottom-line in effect, what would you do? Can you get over the facade and get to the nitty-gritty here? They, the Powers that Be, are betting you won't do that! They think you are all wimps and will give-in to the carrots hanging in front of you.

I also agree.

However, the traditional idea of revolution has already been taken into account and is well planned for by the powers that be.

This is going to take something above and beyond the norm. I have faith in that because it has emerged in history and it is not so unusual to consider.

Your imagination and organisms, and creativity are being challenged to the maximum here. Should you go with the old program, give up, or see that you are stars ready to shine like never before. History shows us that stars have shined, but they have never emerged amongst the complacent and distracted, I dare say.

This is NEW. This is not going to be what you expected or want. Get in tune with the multi-million-year-old biocomputer if you can. The rest will follow as is the way of Nature itself.

This next phase is going to far bigger than you could have expected, wanted, or hoped for. On the other hand, it is going to be far less potent, influential, and potentially victorious, than what you are capable of realizing right now.

Get in line, with the Dreamer's dream. A simple shift of perspective, as if unclenching a fist to feel the relaxation, and you are on your way to the stream of victory for Mankind as a real, concrete organsim, above, and beyond, the prison of thought.

You are far more than you can ever imagine in your surrender to what fear holds you back from in service to that which demands the most of your need to survive.

I see you have your gold star, so exercise the search function. You'll find plenty of posts. I know, because I've made more than a few of them.

However, there is much, much more to talk about on these boards with this gang of thieves, religious nuts, geopolitical delusionists, and would be dictators in charge, and without the search function, a lot of topics look like they're getting short shrift.

This is the kind of change that makes the word resound and echo like nothing we have heard in our lifetimes.

This is the kind of focus that cannot be dissolved or deterred because it is the same flavor that went behind the formation of this country and it is the only flavor that will rescue it on the brink of disaster.

I would never deter anyone from their rightful and determined struggles across the gamut of assaults that we face, as a body in arms.

I can only hope that we will see the most pivotal and pressing points emerge from the whirling quagmire that has been placed before us as a derision in hopes that it would dilute our combined strength and divert our best interests in our most common, sacred, and concrete goal as a people.

We must all stand at the foot of the Constitution and revere it, as always. We must use our own understanding and gut-level, intuitive sensitivities in order to arise to the occasion at hand. We would do that only in the sense that we have no doubts, whatsoever, that whatever else we are struggling for, nothing else would be achieved without our foundation!

Let all issues pale in respect to the gauntlet that Mr. Bush has presented to the face of the American Public that is awake at present/. I only wish that I could channel Jefferson or Paine right now. Let my words suffice and please, please, take heed wile the taking heed is sufficient.

Don't let the talking points and obscuring deflect your potential for a conjoined power that could topple the tyranny that is challenging us with a bold face and a swagger!

We cannot easily lose what our Forefathers, (and, in a way, Prophets) have bequeathed. They did clearly foresee this crises and we must, as thinking, reasoning, inheritors, react in kind.

Blood may flow and much might be sacrificed. I hope it works out better than that..
