That train wreck of a press conference yesterday was to test drive |
|
the SOTU address? Apparently he's not ready for prime time with it yet. Lots of new phrases and BS about how he's not breaking the law. Sent up that lead balloon. Pray that he comes across as arrogant and sure of himself and petty and delusional as he did yesterday.

The only time he can speak extemporaneously is when he's talking about killing people

2. Then he really lights up |
|
Everytime he talks about death and destruction he gets all happy and he can suddenly speak properly. It's amazing the change that comes over him.

Though he's done a decent job of hiding it in this election cycle, Bush has been known to use salty language. At the Republican National Convention in 1988, he was asked by a Hartford Courant reporter about what he and his father talked about when they weren't talking about politics.
"Pussy," Bush replied.http://archive.salon.com/politics/feature/2000/09/04/cuss_word/Apparently, Bush can talk about killing people and pussy. He's a regular renaissance man.

He was TERRIBLE...a lot of stammering, hemming and hawwing! Definitely not confident in what he was saying.

and heard clips on Randi, if that monkey* wasn't flying on something I don't know anything about flying, but, laying across the podium, srammering, stuttering, looked more like a junkie than a president. I find it so hard to believe that people actually adore this moran.

9. I thought he did a great job |

There are just a few glitches in the software making him stammer and twitch, and RF leakage from the low-frequency internal guidance system made that camera go haywire, but we'll get those problems de-bugged before the State of the Union address.
You can't see the power pack anymore, like at the debates. Boy, that was embarrassing. Had to make some of those engineers "disappear" over that one. Straightened the rest of them up, pronto.

10. this whole week he's been testing his material |
|
It will still be 90% what it was last year, but he's adding a new 10%, and testing those lines.
Look for a spirited "since 9/11 I swore that I'd do everything necessary, and if Al Qaeda is calling someone in the US, we want to know what they're saying and who they're talking to."
AS IF.

12. nobody will ask questions at the SOTU |
|
so he won't have to dodge them like he did yesterday.
Q: Why do you feel the need to circumvent FISA? A: I, I, I.... you said "circumvent." That's a.. a.. like I'm breaking the law. I'm not. The American people hired me to protect the American people and I'm gonna do what's necessary to protect the American people. Circumvent. That's a loaded word. Make sure you have the facts straight. Next question.
