Just hang on - reality is coming around the corner...
Those that believe everything they are told will soon discover they should have checked for themselves. Their leaders have been lying to them...bigtime. And they thought it was all a game. Nobody would intentionally do things to harm our country or our people, they told themselves. But reality is coming around the corner.

The election in Palestine is just the tip of the iceberg. Soon, much too soon, the religious Shias will take over in Iraq and ally themselves with Iran. There will no longer be a buffer between Iran and Israel, in the form of Saddam Hussein. It will all be one big Iran. We will have created one large threat to the state of Israel. On top of all this, we will have advanced another "cold war" of sorts between Russia, China, and the United States and the rest of the world will be sucked in. And that is just on the foreign policy side.

On the domestic side, our debt will have crossed the threshhold. There is a 50/50 chance that we will have to default in the near future. If China or other nations no longer buy our debt and if they turn to the Euro instead of the dollar, America will be in deep, deep water. With the struggle over oil and the price of energy in this country, many people will no longer be able to afford it and still eat, due to the clampdown on wages for the last 30 years. Working people are in for some tough times ahead. Today, they do not see that it is politics that is going to make their lives miserable. Reality is coming around the corner. Not to be cynical or to bring anyone down, but it is going to be even worse than I have stated.

1. The last 5, 10, 20 years or so has been like a train wreck in slow motion
I used to think corrupt administrations come and go, but I feel this one is here to stay. I don't even think we have a "government" now, but rather a highly organized mob that has seized the White House and Congress; thugs and cutthroats who have placed their toadies in the Supreme Court and Media. Checks and balances are non existent. Justice is just a "quaint" idea.

I try to stop it the best I can but the train wreck just keeps happening. I stand and watch as the train just plows through our institutions like so many obstacles on its track.

2. First they took control of the propaganda system...
With Limbaugh and right-wingers that made enemies of the "liberal media" and liberal policies. Ridicule was most effective.

4. Richard Clarke's book said the same shit
on the foreign policy side. Economically I have no idea what will happen. All I can say is hand on.
