and tried to cut off his access (sorry don't have a link for this) but after that he turned and began to toe the line. Sometimes he would write an article that seemed fair but then last year he was given a new job where instead of being the Washington Beat reporter they made him more of a Commentator. I think he's trying to be the David Brooks of the WaPo...and I and other DU'ers who've watched him for a long time...don't think he's now anything more than a shill for the Bushies.

Like Matthews he occasionally seems to "wake up" but then a few days later turns back to Media Whoreing. :shrug:
