Alito will get on the SC. Then things will fall apart rapidly most likely. When people finally awake things will be so bad that even the MSM will be overhauled as they will even say "never again". I think a critical mass will be reached but it is not at this moment. It seems only moments away thought. The house of cards is falling. We will see the rubble soon and we will hopefully see changes for the good of all people. You must see that it has not reached that mass yet. If dems start to win just a little now then it will just be more of the same. Hillary, repub lite. But if it really gets bad major changes will be made. I'd like to see major changes. Real campaign finance reform, no more diebold, end to money from lobbyists. They have a right to partition the Gov. but can't they just make an appointment with out buying time?

Please do not think that I wish it to get worse so we can get REAL reform. I'm just saying it will take worse to get there. We should never give up the fight. We will win somehow, and soon I hope.

Anyway, I think things must get way worse before real change can take place. I do know things are very bad now and people are dying and suffering, but most people don't realize the trouble we are in.

1. I lost all respect for the SCOTUS after they "appointed" bush president
It is a shame-I had so much respect, thinking they would NEVER do anything that wasn't really pure-Ha!!!
Now, they should throw out everyone appointed or placed into office since 2000-yea I know I'm dreaming.

2. Let's save this for Wednesday, if necessary
I totally get what you are saying, and I agree.
BUT
Now is not the time - now is the time to throw your back & shoulder into it, and redouble our efforts.

This ain't over 'til it's over, my friend.

C'mon, have a beer and let's get back at it!

4. Agreed, never stop fighting or we will never get the changes
we and the world so desperately need. I've been e-mailing and calling senators.
I didn't mean to be negative at a time when pushing back is a must no matter what.

3. I agree with your assessment
bush is on his way to making the gop a permanent minority party. He has three years to continue to fuck up and there is no doubt in my mind he is up to the challenge. When those on the sidelines discover someone is actively fucking with their constitutional liberties, they'll get in the game. It may take the next three years but it will happen. We aren't talking a sexual indiscretion here, we are discussing our life and our liberty and our pursuit of happiness. The gop is fading away. Slowly fading away; but fading.
