a press conference, he was one of the most affable and witty presidents and quite photogenic to boot. The media and most of America genuinely liked JFK. The chimp can only dream of acheiving something akin to that.

12. I noticed that there are only a very few chucklers.

The camera happened to pan the press contingent after one of the "funnies" and almost the entire group sat stone-faced. There were three gigglers sitting near the front. Maybe that's their job -- to respond to those lame attempts at humor.
