Didn't SCOTT McCLENNAN look stupid today (trying to ridicule KERRY)
McClennan's comments about Kerry and the ski resort looked very amateurish, childish and was not well received.

I don't know if you've noticed but aren't the GOP all giggling and kind of happy? The President looks like a deer in the headlights one minute and next he is giggling? Scott McClennan was laughing, in fact Rove is laughing. Can someone explain what they have in store for us?

2. Well, it's about making Kerry look elitist for going on vacations
Perhaps if the knucklehead populace remember that they used to take vacations before Bush II, they might connect the two.

Until then, I'll say it probably worked on the majority.

12. Except Sen Kerry wasn't on vacation
He was at the World Economic Summit representing the Senate Finance Committee with a bipartisan group of Senators. And he skipped an opportunity to speak and a peace conference in Ireland to come back to speak in the Senate today.

McClellan is an ass. I've seen more mature 12 year olds.
I hate this fucking administration more every day.

22. Scott looks stupid, George looks stupid, but they control the Country.
The Democrats are apparently toothless. We can make fun of the stupid Republicans but not much more. Don't get me wrong, i will fight to the end. But not many Democratic congresspeople are willing to do the same. How can a party win if the party has leaders that side with the opposition?

25. Kerry's people should point out
that if the Democrats were to take back the Senate and if Frist gets a sentence for insider trading, proportional to that given Martha Stewart, that the Repub leader might be calling for a filibuster from a penitentiary.

35. Yes, and of all the Constitutional scholars NPR might have
Edited on Sat Jan-28-06 06:13 AM by buddyhollysghost
quoted as we face a possible radical shift in the courts, the idiotic NPR reporter this evening quoted lil' Scotty. I had heard Kerry's voice while surfing the radio and stopped to hear someone I admire speak words of support for Americans like me.

Then the reporter cuts to the *teehee*giggle*giggle* high school shit coming out of McLellan's pretty mouth. I mean, NPR doesn't even PRETEND anymore to be a news source for intellectuals. They have become (FU)X News, radio version.

Kudos to Kerry for taking the time to call for filibuster. And fuck Scotty and the media who didn't seem as interested in Scalia's vacation during Roberts' swearing in ceremony.

They're pulling out the Kerry is a rich, skiing, snowboarding, opera-going, French-speaking, elitist dilletant crap.

He looked like an ass.

Now let's hope that Kerry makes sure that the press gets the word on where he was and what he was doing and who he was doing it with. There were lots of Republicans at Davos too.

43. PBS - Jim Lehrer and Mark Shields are irredeemable
JIM LEHRER: To the analysis of Shields and Brooks, syndicated columnist Mark Shields, New York Times columnist David Brooks.

Mark, how do you read the John Kerry sudden push for a filibuster, what is that about?

MARK SHIELDS: Well, I think there an unfortunate call for it, the venue is not ideal --

JIM LEHRER: The ski slopes.
