Even Bush is pushing for Hillary
They know how to play the game, eh? Hillary versus Mcain would be a landslide.

"WASHINGTON - President Bush said Friday that Sen. Hillary Clinton, a potential candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, is "formidable," but he declined to speculate on which Republicans might run for the White House in 2008."

4. All hail Hillary Clinton...
The Republican/Media choice for Democratic candidate - the one they'd have the most fun with. I have a strong feeling that the real Democratic candidate will be someone else. I'm thinking Gore, Dean, Clark, Kerry...

5. It's interesting the way republican politician the press push Hillary '08.

Here's how you test that. Ask any republican walking down the street. I guess they weren't sent the memo.

John Paul Stevens...

How would you like a Republican to replace him?

7. Republicans are DIEING for Hillary to run.
Edited on Fri Jan-27-06 11:00 PM by Ready4Change
They know that nothing, NOTHING would more invigorate their voting base. The Dems could run a black nominee. A black woman nominee. A communist, black, woman nominee and STILL not generate the open, instant loathing and hatred the Republicans have instilled within their base since 1992.

Hillary running in 2008 is their fondest dream. They feel they could run the most bigotted, hypocrital POS they can find and STILL win against Hillary. In fact, if she were the Dems front runner then the GOP Primaries would really be something to watch, just to see all the scum dancing again in the sunlight for what they would see as their golden opportunity.

By all means, run her. Get the GOP hopes up. But please, pull her out at the last moment, once the GOP have fully flaunted their rottenest apples, and nominate someone, ANYONE, else.

I guarantee, if Hillary runs, you will see a full force, 24/7, all channel smearing the likes of which you can't even comprehend today. Every corporate news channel is slavering at the thought. You can see Chris Matthews eyes glaze over at the possibility. I doubt he'd notice a Krispy Kreme waved under his nose in that state. It's embarrasing.

It's also a damn shame. I think our nation could do far worse than having Hillary at the Helm. (Bush2 has proved that.) But, sadly, every newcaster, every pundit, every opponent she might face, already has that game scripted out. Her campaign would be a dead horse before the trains wheels hit the tracks.

Find some one else.

8. He wants Hillary for the same reason why he wanted Kerry
The Bush Empire sees her as being the easiest to beat.

9. Senator Hillary Clinton
I also believe that the Republicans view Senator Clinton as a sure loser, but as an upstate New Yorker from the hillybilly area, I would recommend that they double check their assumption. She has proven to be a very active, supportive and well thought of senator in an area where she had almost no original support. She has changed many former opponents into respecting constituents. No mean trick to pull off in this neck of the woods. My opinion is that in our area ,she would do better than either Al Gore or John Kerry. time will tell, ( Maybe even Newsweek)
